HPMC Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose has thermal gelation properties, so after heating the aqueous solution will precipitate and form gels, and dissolve again after cooling. Products of different specifications have different gelling temperatures. Its solubility varies with the viscosity, and the lower the viscosity is, the greater the solubility will be. There are some differences in the properties of Hydroxypropyl MethylCellulose of different specifications. The dissolution of HPMC / MHPC Hydroxypropyl MethylCellulose in water is not affected by the pH value.

HPMC + FEATURES
Tile Adhesive
a.Good water retention: prolonged opening time will make tiling more efficient.

Cement Plaster / Dry mix mortar

b.Good water retention: prevention of fluid loss to the substrates, the appropriate water content is kept in mixture which guarantees longer concreting time.

Wall putty
a. Water retention: maximized water content in slurry.
b. Anti-sagging: when spreading a thicker coat corrugation can be avoided.
c. Increased mortar yield: depending on the weight of the dry mixture and appropriate formulation ,HPMC can increase the mortar volume.
